I had a Yorkie before her, and she really trained very easily. They are all so different. What I do recommend you doing is looking up "Yorkie Talk"! That is a fabulous site- with this EXACT same format as this forum is designed. THERE you can find out anything and everything you want to know about Yorkies. At least, everyone has an opinion and shares very openly with what they personally have found to work and not work. Check it out! I'm "Hope's Affection" on there. (named after my first baby- 6 yr yorkie, Hope. We lost her unexpectedly last August. It was horrible...) I will check back with you and see if you made it on there okay! "GOOD LUCK!" AND WISH I HAD INSTANT RELIEF TO YOUR PROBLEM, if I did, we would be living the farms we're dreaming about! tee hee...
Hi there, Marlys! Oh my, potty training... tee hee.... Well, If I knew the grand solution to that, my little Lily, who in her defense is 9 mos, would be trained. She is getting so much better though since we started putting her in a kennel while we're gone. It is making her "hold it" than strolling a long on the carpet and letting go when any sort of desire comes around. The sad thing we started the kenneling more so for HER CHEWING UP OUR TV WIRES CONSTANTLY! Little stinker! oops- must break this message in two... I talk and chat to much! ha!
