I'm fine not owning the sandwich shop. I have dairy, sugar, and ice cream facilities (dairy and sugar being necessary to make my bakery items), and I too put them on a separate farm. They look, more or less, appropriately industrial. I think the concept of the facilities is absolutely great. But I care how my farms look, and if the current graphic trends continue for the facilities, I won't be buying them. Just sayin', don't expect that anybody has to agree with me, okay?
I absolutely agree with you Earl Grey!! My farms are works of art and I spend time making sure it looks like quilts for example...how incongruous to have a plastic looking sandwich factory in the midst of all that!!
Im an artist and I know it doesnt take much to enhance the look of the facilities...change the colours to more natural and realistic ones (eg. not striking blue stripes as in the ice cream factory and the ugly colours of the juice facility) remove the curves and fibre glass looking curves (eg in the silly submarine look sandwich shop) and the UGLY childish fake tower designs (eg in the juice factory and the preserves facility).

Come on Farmtown!! While the whole world is going towards 'green' and natural designs, youre still stuck in the plastic look of the 70's!! I know some people are saying that many factories seriously look like that, but why must Farmtown follow suit in ugliness? Why dont you continue designing realistic looking buildings like the stone, round and brown barns for example?

It looks like you have two sets of designers..one artistic group designing well thought out realistic buildings and the other is a group of kindergarten kids just churning out amusement park facilities!!
