My trees highlighted once I bought the orange manure spreader for the trees on my farms that have crops. I had to fertilize the farm that I have only trees on for them to highlight. But it takes the same amount to fertilize each farm regardless if it's a combo of trees/crops or just crops or trees on it - 50 manure.
