Hi, I believe this option is for the people who do already have those tools, they were clicking on 'harvest all' and all their eggs were being collected, all their sheep were being sheared, etc. So the next time they went to start a quest, and they needed, say, sheep wool, they had to wait until the sheep were ready. Now this way, they can designate one farm to be excluded from when they click on "Harvest All"
I myself have none of these tools, so it makes no difference whatsoever to me, if I have a farm officially designated as a quest farm, or not. I just don't click to harvest any animals on my Farm 13, which I have set aside as a quest farm.
