Play Farm Town there!

Farm Town has not been available to play using Facebook since Monday July 24th, 2023.
If you registered to continue playing Farm Town on the Slashkey Website, prior to that date, you can either click on the link above and use your registered login details to log in and play
OR you can click on the blue Play in Farmtown.com button at the top of the forum to go to the website to login and play.

If you had farms on Facebook and did not get registered to play Farm Town on the Website prior to July 24th, 2023, OR your registered login details are not working you can do any of these:

click on the official link for the Website at the top of this post
OR click on the blue Play in Farmtown.com button at the top of the forum
OR Go to the official fan page for Farm Town on Facebook and click on the Play Game button at the top.

Then click on the Light BLUE Signup button on the Slashkey login page.

You will then see information on how to contact the support team who will help you to recover your farms.

To create a NEW account and start playing from the beginning of Farm Town, in that same area, you can click on the GREEN SignUp to create a NEW account.

You will need an email address that you keep using to keep it active.
You will need a password that you will remember.
These are needed incase you forget your login details for the website.

Always use the official link to play on the Website so that you know you are using the current version of the game.
You must allow cookies in your browser in order to log into the website
OR you can just allow the slashkey.com cookie if you prefer to only allow specific cookies.

There ARE some differences between what was possible to do in the Facebook version and the Slashkey Website. The WEB Guide can help to understand those differences.

This WEB Guide is an additional aid to the regular Game Guide to help show you when and where things have changed that you need to know about!

Neighbour and Buddy Capacity Increased
Neighbours capacity increased by 33%.
Buddies capacity is now 3 times as much as before.
You should be able to have about 500 neighbours and buddies combined.

Sending Neighbour/Buddy Requests using email or USER ID
Add/Remove Current Neighbours, Buddies.
Add Facebook friends (if you registered before July 24th, 2023) that are not a Neighbour or Buddy yet.
Change current Neighbours/Buddies from one list to the other list.
Accepting/Declining Neighbour and Buddy Requests.

The Send Gifts functionality was moved inside the main game and is no longer done using the Send Gifts tab above the game. Load your game and click on the red Gift box icon to access the new Gift Manager.

New Links at the top of the Facility Wall Requests page and Other Wall Requests page

There is an option to Include posts from Farmers that have you as a Neighbour or Buddy but are not your Neighbour or Buddy yet. When the check mark is removed Only the friends that you had on Facebook if you registered before 24th July,2023 will be showing up. This will likely no longer be useful in the future as your current Facebook friends list can no longer be updated to Farm Town.

The 2nd option in Facility Wall Requests is to Show posts only from the latest farmers who have worked my facilities. When the check mark is added you will ONLY see facility work requests for Neighbours and Buddies that have also helped work your facilities, this is the same farmers that you can see in the user action panel (yellow background) below your game screen. Reload the game when you want to update that information.

In Other Wall Request there is also an option to Include posts from Farmers that have you as a Neighbour or Buddy but are not your Neighbour or Buddy yet. Remove the check mark if you do not want to see requests from those that you don't have you as a Neighbour or Buddy yet.

Also in Facility Wall Requests there is a new Do both at once, work factories and refer clients link that could be used to work both types of facility requests using the one link. You can only use this link to work both types IF you have 4 fully diversified trains that are dispatched.

One Fully diversified train is a locomotive with 10 different Long Cars correctly attached AND dispatched.
Remember that you can not have 2 locomotives of the same speed on the same farm and dispatch them. One per farm!
You can now have up to 15 working trains. 3 of each speed locomotive.

a) Increased maximum amount of posts from 150 to 200
b) If a farmer already has all her facilities empty, we will hide that post most of the time
c) Multiple facility posts from the same farmer in this section of My Requests are now hidden so that only the most recent posts (one for production facilities, one for service facilities) shows at any time.
d) Older Facility Requests that they posted earlier are automatically removed. This means you will see more Facility Requests from different farmers on that page and it still allows those that like to post them much more frequently than others do, to continue doing that.

Also Other Wall Requests Wall Requests:

a) Increased maximum amount of posts from 150 to 200
b) Show only one 'farm expansion' post per farmer
c) Show only one 'new level reached' post per farmer
d) Show only 5 'gift requests' posts per farmer.

Send a Requested gift in the Website Other Wall Requests.
When you click on the Send XXX you will then see in Gift Sent red text.
When you next reload the Other Wall Requests that sent gift will show a pink background as usual.

Profile section in the Account tab above your game screen. CLICK HERE for help with any of the following:

Updating your Website Profile Picture
Changing or Adding an Avatar Name
Where to find the pictures taken with the in game camera are temporarily stored on the website.
Changing your Website email (after registering)
Changing your Website Password (after registering)

New rule for *new* players signing up in the new website when sending Farm Cash gifts to other players.

New accounts can only can send as much Farm Cash as they have bought themselves. Farm Cash earned by leveling up or any other way can no be sent to other players. This is to mitigate the creation of fake accounts in the new website with the sole purpose of leveling up and sending Farm Cash to other players.
Rules for accounts created BEFORE 28th July 2023 remain the same.

The Buy Cash tab above the game screen is disabled.
You now buy Farm Cash using the new methods in the Bank inside the game.

Load the game, click on the Map icon then click on the Bank.
