A few days ago I posted about the limits of the Semi-Trailer Truck and the fact that it is requiring us to "pick and choose" which of our facilities we are going to use ...

I was jumped on by some of the posters saying that this is the way business is run in real life and that they didn't need to do it and other things ... Since then there have been several people who have posted problems with shortages in Cheese from the Dairy Processing and output from the "Truck" ... THIS is what I was talking about ...

The output on the Semi-Trailer Truck was low and slow when it first came out and the output required some patience to gather enough to supply the Taco Restaurant and the Pizza Restaurant ... since the release of the "Truck" there have been numerous facilities that require the use of Ham, Meat, Chicken, etc. and they have added the Brewery which uses Yeast ... an addition to the Truck ...

The increased facilities requiring Chicken have nearly doubled the requirement for Chicken to fill the facilities ... It requires that you wait over 37 days with one truck working 24/7 to supply that amount of Chicken ... If a "Real World" business had a food court and at least one of the restaurants was only open 1 day out of every 5 weeks the business would NOT do real well ...

I have had to purchase a Second Semi-Trailer Truck and that is STILL NOT Enough ... but I am now down to 1 day of business about every 3 weeks ... :{ ...

I agree with some of the other posters ... there should be an adjustment made to that facility and I would be willing to pay a little bit (out of my Christmas gifts) for that enhancement ...

One question ... WHY did the devs put Yeast in there as a 2 hour maturity instead of the 1 hour maturity that the rest of the products have ???

First I understand your frustration here, if you would read in this and other threads you will notice a lot of folks are asking for the same thing here.. and also if you think back you will remember there was the same type of frustration on crop production.... the dev's do understand and come through with solutions time and time again as evidenced in the ability to fertilize our crops that we have now... with that being said try a solution someone presented to me a short time ago.......stock pile your meats, dont produce items needing meat for a period of time, trade gifts for meats you use...... in a short period of time you will acquire enough to fill your facilities daily, also go to your semi as much as possible and save and add to the production.... i now have so much meat i am astonished... i have done the same with items such as flour, sugar eggs, manure, mango, cherries etc.... stocking on needed things is really essential..

SunnyD ... I appreciate your taking the time to respond to my post ... I have been stockpiling goods and keeping my 2 Trucks working 24/7 ... I was stunned when I ran out of Chicken and Meat ...

I appreciate the devs ... they have been marvelous and have answered so many questions, concerns and "wishes" of the players that it is amazing. I have quit playing virtually all other on-line games in favor of FT partly because I love the strategy and partly because the devs here, unlike other games, pay attention to the users ...

I am not frustrated ... I was simply stating facts about the production requirements ... for example, Tomatoes to meet all facilities demands and fill up the facilities will take almost 7000 ... The devs have made this possible by the "fertilizer" option as you pointed out ... They have worked to make this the premier "Farming" game (although I see it more as a 'Sim') game ... much more than a farming game alone ...

With the new facilities it makes the serious player sit back and work out strategy or they will find that they are trying to produce pizza with no cheese and trying to bake bread with no flour ...
