For those having trouble hiring in the market, try going to the Inn or the trading market from there and then back to the job market. If you see everyone still with the white name tag then do it again. If you see some with the red tag then you should be in and able to hire.

I was having issues with it earlier and tried clearing memcache. Was it just a fluke that I was able to hire after reentering the game?
