I moved your post to the thread about Animals.

When you have animals in your gift box and you click in Store button AND you are on a farm with animal sheds then the animals are sent into their buildings and not to your storage.

For example, if you have pigs in your gift box and you are on a farm with a Pigsty with enough space for more pigs, then when you click in Store button, the pigs go into that Pigsty.
