What is Manage on Ships I get at my Port?


Who can I use on my Ships Logbook?

Nothing has changed, you still use any of your Neighbours that have their Port enabled.
If you don't see them to use and they are not already on your Logbook, then their Port is disabled.
You would need to find out if that was due to them not playing for a while perhaps when on vacation.

Who can send me Ships?

If your Port is Enabled, Anyone that has YOU as their Neighbour can send their ship.

What has changed is that you will now know if you don't have any connection with them within the game, meaning that you either do not have them as one of your Neighbours and they are not one of your Buddies.
This is likely to be:
  • a friend you currently have on Facebook,
  • or a friend that you had on Facebook at some point (possibly a forgotten friend, someone who stopped playing and now plays
  • it's stranger that you allowed to add you as a buddy
  • it's a stranger that you allowed to add you as on of their Neighbours with the new Add Neighbour method using the Avatar menu.
  • or the more uncommon reason. It could be someone you forgot to go remove yourself as their Neighbour and Buddy.

When this happens you will see Manage under their picture on the ship they sent to you.

As long as your Neighbour List or Buddy List is not already full. Manage will allow you to add that friend as a Neighbour or a Buddy.


To add them, click on Manage and the Manage Sender will open.
It will look similar to this, but your percentages are likely to be different.
These examples are the different brief notifications you could see when adding a farmer to a List depending on if your List has room to add them or is Full.

Creating a New Account on the Website.


Please consider the NEW Rule for Sending Farm Cash if you are only Creating a new account for the sole purpose of sending Farm Cash to yourself:

UPDATE 28th July 2023 , 5:20PM There is a new rule for *new* players signing up in the new website when sending Farm Cash gifts to other players.

They can send as much Farm Cash as they have bought themselves, Farm Cash earned by leveling up or any other way cannot be sent to other players. This is to mitigate the creation of fake accounts in the new website with the sole purpose of leveling up and sending Farm Cash to other players.
The Rules for accounts created BEFORE 28th July 2023 remain the same as they were.



To Create a NEW Account, please click on this link to go to the Slashkey Website:

You will then see the Website Login page:



Click on the GREEN Signup (start with an empty farm) button.

You will see the Farmtown Signup window:
  1. Type your first name in the top box.

  2. Type your email address in the box underneath.
    If you already have an account you can not use the same email address to create another Account.
    You must keep the email you use active as that is where emails will be sent should you forget things like your password to log in or and if you need to contact the support team in the future.
  3. Then click on the Green Signup button.


    NOTE: There are 2 error messages you could see when you click on Signup IF the email is already in use:

    If you have already used the email address that you entered and it has a registered password, you will see this message and be prompted to login.
    It looks like you have already created a Farmtown account. To login using your email and password, click Login.

    If you have already used the email address that you entered but it does NOT have a registered password, you will see this message prompting you to provide one.
    It looks like you have already created a Farmtown account but your password is currently empty, to set your password.



You will see that a security code has been sent to the email address that you entered.



Look for that email in your in box.
If it is not there please also check your spam/junk folder of emails in case it ended up there.

Your email will look similar to this, but you will have your own code number.
In this example the code is 7953:




When you have your Code Enter the number into the box and click on Continue.
If you do not find the email you can click on the Didn't get a Code link just underneath where you would enter the code then follow the instructions it shows you.


You will then need to enter a password that is at least 6 characters long.
Chose a memorable password.
Your email and password will be needed every time you are logged out so that you can log back in.
MAKE A NOTE OF THEM AND KEEP THOSE DETAILS SOMEWHERE SAFE.

When you have entered your password and made a note of it, click on Continue.

You will then see confirmation that you are signed up to Play FarmTown:

Click on Play and the game will load.


You will then have some basic things to do:

Choose if your avatar will be Male or Female and give your Avatar name.
Type the name in the box.
Click on the Female or Male to select it then click on the green Check Mark at the bottom to save that change.
The Avatar Appearance can be changed in many ways.
Each of the 8 sections allows you to altar it's appearance.

The section that has an orange background is the section you are looking at.
There are arrows that will appear to the left or right so you can see more options if more are available. When you want to select an option click on it and the avatar show to the left will show you what that will look like.

To change sections click on the name of that section, the background will turn orange and it will show you the options for that section.

Be very careful in the clothes section. When you first load the game you won't be able to buy some of the clothes as they cost more Farm Cash than you start out with, but you may want to change your avatar clothes at a later time when you do have enough. You may want to save what Farm Cash you have earned for other items until you are familiar with the game.

You can click on the clothes to see what they look like before you Buy BUT if you make a mistake and click on BUY, if you have enough Farm Cash to cover the cost of the clothes you will be buying them and that can not be reversed.



When you have finished with your avatars appearance, click on the green check mark at the bottom of the window to save those changes.
Click on the red X if you change your mind about those changes.

You will then be taken though some basics in the game and you will be able to see your farm, how many coins you have, your Farm Cash, the name of your farm, your level and experience points.


This is where your coin amount is located top left of the screen.

You start with one farm, as you get more farms, more numbers will appear here and turn into a grid so you can easily move from farm to farm.



This Farmers Lists icon is what you click on when you get some Neighbours and Buddies, where you will se Neighbours and Buddy Requests that are sent to you by other farmers.



This Message icon is where you will find any messages sent to you. If there is a red number on the box, you have n unread message. Click on it to open it.




This section is all about your game level. The number on the left is the amount of experience points you have. The bar will fill up as you earn them to reach the next level. The number in the green circle is your Level and will change as you reach each level.



The name of you farm is at the top of the game screen and can be clicked on the change if you wish. If you make any changes click the green check mark to save the change, click the red X to cancel the change.



The Preferences section is where you can show hide items on your farm, go online/offline in the game and much more.

If you click on the Speaker icon to turn it red, the sounds in the game will be muted. There is a separate icon underneath that one that controls the music. Mouseover the speaker icon and the music icon will drop down, click on it to turn it red if you want the music off.

Top right above your game screen is the button to log out of the website.



Remember, you will need your login details to log back into the website.

Some browser clearing and updating can log you out of Websites, you may need to log out and back into the website occasionally if there's been an update or any fixes released so please keep those login details in a safe place and remember that ONLY getting your browser or device to save those may not always be the best idea if you device stops working for any reason, loses them or you forget to update them if you change your details.

To the left of Logout there is a generic picture icon, which you will be able to upload a small picture to in the future.

Default Changing your Website Login Details after logging into the Website

How to use the Forgot Password Link.

Using the Forgot Password Link link sends an email to the email address you used to register for the Slaskey FarmTown Website.

You can NOT use this method if your email address is wrong or you have lost access to the read emails in it.

If you have lost access to the email address you used to register with you will need to start Registration again. If you need to change your email address CLICK HERE to go to different instructions.
Emails and passwords have been hidden in the pictures in this post for security.


As long as you can read the emails in email address you used to register with you can use these instructions to reset your password.
If you see Incorrect password. Try again or click Forgot password to reset it when you try to log into the Slashkey FarmTown Website....

The Forgot password? text in that window to the left of <--- NEW is a Link that can be clicked on to reset your password.

Example:


STEP 1. Click on the Forgot Password link to have a code sent to your email address so that you can change your Password for the website.

You will then see the help us find your account window.



STEP 2. In the Email and USER ID line, type in the email address that you used to register your Farm Town account to the website.



STEP 3. Then click on Continue

STEP 4. In the next window check that the email address is correct.

If your email address is incorrect you can click on Cancel to start over.



STEP 5. If your email address is correct click on Continue AGAIN!
The Continue button will change to a dimmed out Sending button:


STEP 6. You then need to check your emails and look for the email that you were just sent.

This is an example of what the email can look like.
The red arrows indicate where the code shows in the title line of your email and within the email when you open it.
The blue arrow indicates the clickable link within the email which is an alternative method that you can use to open the Website to enter the code, if you closed the Website.

On the website, this is what the enter security code window looks like.
It shows the email address the code was sent you and a box to enter the code in.
If you see Recovery link expired in the window, you have either opened an older email that has an old code in it or the link has expired. Look for the newest email with a code in or click on Start Over to reset the password again.


STEP 7. Type the CODE number you were sent in the email into the box.
In this example the code is 2206. Your code is likely to be different.
A new code is generated every time the Forgot Password link is used.
If you didn't receive an email with your code in, check your Spam/Junk folder of your emails in case the email went there instead of your inbox.
If you still don't find it you can click on the Didn't get a code? link which is just below the box where you would enter the code.


STEP 8. When you have entered your code, click on Continue



You will then see the Choose a new password window:


STEP 9. In the box enter your NEW password for the Slashkey FarmTown Website.
If you want to see the password as you type it add a check mark to the box for Show Password.
Choose a memorable password!!!
Make a note of it and keep it somewhere that you will find it again!


STEP 10. When you have entered your NEW password, click on Continue


You will then see that your password has been changed:


STEP 11. Click on Continue


You will then see the Login page for the Slashkey FarmTown Website.


STEP 12. Enter your email address OR Check that the email address is still entered correctly.


STEP 13. DELETE everything in the password line if anything is showing entered.



STEP 14. Enter your NEW password and when you are sure both details are correct click on Login.
If those details are correct your farm will load and you will be logged into the website.

NCC - What is Manage in the Thank You window for?

In The Neighbourhood Chains Contest (NCC) when you help someone place top 3 or you add a facility you can be sent Thanks which gives you some extra rewards to help with your facilities.


In that Thank You window under a farmers picture you may see Manage.
This this example we have removed profile pictures for privacy:


Blue Backgrounds are on those you already have on your Neighbour List, meaning those that you can see in your Neighbours bar at the bottom of your game screen.

Pink Backgrounds are on those you already have on your Buddy List. They are able to thank you as they have you as one of their Neighbours.

You will need to check what button is showing under each of the pictures and see if any of them have Manage showing up.
When Manage is showing up that means that you do not have them as one of your Neighbours OR one of your Buddies yet.


To add them as a Neighbour or Buddy, click on Manage
When you click on Manage, as long as you have room in either your neighbour List or your Buddy List you can add them as a Neighbour or Buddy.
This is what it can look like:
Your percentages are likely to be different.



When you are able to add them as a Neighbour or Buddy, no permission is required their end to accept it, as at some point you had already given permission for them to have you as one of their Neighbours so there is already a connection on their side.

These examples are the different brief notifications you could see when adding a farmer to a List depending on if your List has room to add them or is Full.




Remember that on the Website:
  • you can still remove your Neighbours via your Neighbour bar at the bottom of your game screen.

  • you can still remove Buddies using the yellow Bulldozer in your Buddy List.

What is Manage in the Facility Chains for?

In 2 areas of the Facility Chains you can see Manage which allows you to add that farmer as a Neighbour or Buddy as long as you have not reached your Limits for those lists!


You can see Manage under a farmers picture in these 2 places:
  • In the My Chains section when you check the products that can be imported from a Specific Chain.



  • In the Trade Products Section where you can Import and Export much Faster to all Neighbours and where you can Import from Buddies.




    Remember:
    • You can Import AND Export to Neighbours.

    • Buddies can Export to you as they have you as one of their Neighbours,
      BUT you can NOT export to them until you add them as a Neighbour.

      Converting a Buddy to a Neighbour can be done from your Buddy List NOT from the Facility Chains! If you would like a reminder on how to that with the Buddy List CLICK HERE

Default Gift Manager on the Website!

Gift Manager!
Send/Accept/Exchange/Return Gifts from one place!




The Gift Manager is located in the game bar at the bottom of your game screen.

The Send Gifts tab is no longer used.

Gifts sent using the Gift Manager or using Other Wall Requests must be accepted/exchanged in the Gift Manager.

How to use the Gift Manager:


The Gift Manager has 3 sections - Send Gifts, My Gifts, Pending Gifts.


The background colour of any section you are currently viewing will have an Orange background.
The sections you are not viewing will have brown backgrounds.
Click on the name of section that you want to use.


Click on the Gift Manager to open it.
In this example there are 5 different types of gifts waiting to be stored/used.

  • A number on the Gift Manager will ONLY show when you have received ingredients/bonuses, and when you have accepted gifts in the Pending Section of the Gift Manager.

  • If you have no ingredients or bonuses and have not accepted gifts yet from the Pending Gifts section, there will not be any number showing up on the Gift Manager.

  • You have to exchange/accept Pending Gifts before they will show up in the My Gifts section for you to use/store.




My Gifts is set as default. If the tab is not orange, click on it.
The My Gifts section shows you any ingredients and bonuses that you have been sent PLUS any gifts that you have accepted via the Pending Gifts section that you haven't used/stored yet. These gifts were sent using the Send Gifts section of the Gift Manager or when sent via the Other Wall wall requests page.

Top left is your current Gift Box Capacity and Usage numbers.
Capacity is the maximum your gift box can hold. Usage is how much of that capacity you have already got in your giftbox which can be a combination of multiple gifts, different gifts, bonuses and ingredients.

If your Gift Box capacity can still be expanded you can click the green + sign to buy the required 'Gifting Machine' tool and expand the capacity.
  • If you own some, not all of the Gifting Machines that expand Giftbox Capacity and those tools are in your Item Storage, you will see a different colour gifting machine to buy.

  • When you own all of the tools that expand Giftbox capacity the PLUS sign does not show up.

    This farmer does not own ANY Gifting Machines so they see the Purple Gifting Machine is needed:



Farm Pass - Also top left, is the Farm Pass icon.
It is silver in colour if you have not earned and claimed the Farm Pass Privilege for 2 times as many gifts from friends. When you have earned and claimed that Privilege it will be gold.



Example of gifts, ingredients, bonus in the My Gifts Section:
Top right are two filters that you can use to show specific gifts.



Store Ingredients sends all Fuel, gifts of products that can be used in facilities, ingredients and bonuses to your Harvest & Products Storage with one click.

Store Animals sends all animals to animal sheds on the farm that you are on with one click, IF your animal sheds have enough room for them.

Store Plants sends any Gifted Trees/Flowers to your Item Storage with one click, assuming your Item Storage Capacity is not full AND you have enough room to store them all.

Default - sent gifts are listed first, ingredients and bonuses below those.

Alphabetically - orders them in Alphabetical order


As you mouseover the gifts you will see various options to store/use or multi-plant depending on what the gift is.

Gifted trees, flowers, decorations:



Multi allows you to multi-plant gifted trees or flowers that can be harvested/chopped instead of placing them one by one using Multi-Planters that you own. When you click on Multi it shows you different size multi-planter options.
You can not multi-plant decorative items. Those must be placed one at a time.

Use will let you place them one at a time on your farm.

More will let you post a request to the Other Wall Request page to ask your Neighbours and Buddies to send you that specific gift, which you may want to do when you need more of them or for Farm Pass goals.


Gifted Animals:



Store If you have room in your animal sheds on the farm that you are on, you can use Store to send animals to their sheds on that farm. It will store the amount that you have been sent IF you have room to add them in the relevant animal shed.

Use will let you place them one at a time on your farm.

More will let you post a request to the Other Wall Request page to ask your Neighbours and Buddies to send you that specific gift, which you may want to do when you need more of them or for Farm Pass goals.


Gifted Fuel and products that can be used in Facilities:



Fuel and any products for facilities like eggs, cow milk. You can use Store to send them to your Harvest & Products Storage. OR you can click on More to post a request to the Other Wall Request page to ask your Neighbours and Buddies to send you that specific gift, which you may want to do when you need more of them or for Farm Pass goals.




Store Belt Bonus Store just one bonus at a time.

Store Ingredients Store just one ingredient at time.

The Send Gifts section is where you can send a gift to farmers that you have on your Neighbours List and your Buddies List. If the tab is not orange, click on it to view it.

You will see a list of gifts. At Seasonal times it will also show you Seasonal Gifts.

Example:


IF Seasonal gifts have been added to the Send Gift Section, you can add a check mark to the box for Seasonal gifts to be able to see them. Remove the check mark when you do not want to see the Seasonal Gifts:



There is a scroll bar to the right that you can use to scroll through all the gifts.

Near the top of that window is a search box you can type in to search for a specific gift or several to choose from instead of scrolling to find one.

Using the example below you could send pork to some friends, then once those are sent you could then select the eggs to send to other friends and so on, which can save you time when farmers would like different specific gifts, perhaps for Farm Pass goals.



Also top right of that window are 2 filters that you can click on to see specific types of gifts so that you only see those types of gifts. The AZ filter lets you change between the Default view and Alphabetical order.



When you have found the gift that you want to send, click on the Blue Select button.



You will then see the Select Friends window listing all your Neighbours and Buddies.

First Names and Avatar Names will be showing along with profile pictures if they have one. If they do not have a profile picture then an Avatar picture will be showing or a generic grey profile outline.

Blue Backgrounds are your Neighbours, Green Backgrounds are your Buddies.

There is scroll bar to the right if you want to scroll through the list.

The Search bar allows you to type in names or avatar names if you only want to send to specific friends.
Blue background is a Neighbour, Green background is a Buddy, Red background means that farming friend has set their status to Unavailable for at least one day. They may be away for a short while or longer. Mouseover their profile picture and you will see a date or time for when they will return. It will be up to you if you want to send a gift to them or not.



There are also filters at the top that you can use:

On the left All Farmers
can be clicked on so you can change the list to specific types of farmers:


NOTES:
My Facebook Friends no longer updates as the game is no longer on Facebook. Anyone without a Blue or Green background is not on either your Neighbour List or your Buddy List. This option may be removed very soon, so make sure that you have added any friends showing in that list that you want to continue playing with, as a Neighbour or Buddy. If you delete a farmer from the Facebook lists section you can not add them back to that particular list at a later time.

Farmers that have you as a Neighbour anyone showing up in this list with a White Background has you as a Neighbour, but you do NOT have them as a Neighbour or a Buddy.

Farmers that have you as a Buddy anyone showing up in this list with a White Background has you as a Buddy, but you do NOT have them as a Neighbour or a Buddy.

As you mouseover the list each option will turn yellow, click on the option you want to use.


On the right the AZ
can be clicked on to change the behaviour when selecting farmers:



Selected Stay in Place means that when you select a farmer to send to, they stay in the same position in the list.

Selected Move to Top means that when you select a farmer, they then move to the top of the list, which can be useful if you want to check the list again before you send the gifts.

Selected Move to Bottom This is the Default Setting. When you select a farmer, they then move to the bottom of the list.
This can be useful when you want to send gifts to all farmers or lot of farmers. When you click Select on the farmer top left of the list, that farmer moves down to the bottom of the list and the next farmer appears in it's place allowing you to continually Select farmers without scrolling until you have selected the maximum of 50 farmers.
To send a gift to Individual farmers you can click on the Select in each farmers box to Select that Farmer to send a gift to.
The background will turn pink on each farmer and the Select button will change to a dimmed out Unselect button.
If you make a mistake you can click on Unselect to deselect a farmer.
You can select up to 50 farmers one at a time with this method.

As you select farmers the Select bottom left of the window will decrease from 50 and the counter in the bottom center of the window will increase in number to show you how many you selected.



To send Up to 50 farmers with one click, you can use the Select 50 at the bottom left of the window which will select the first 50 farmers in your list.
The number showing can be less when you have less farmers to send gifts to.
The background will turn pink on all selected farmers and the Select button will change to a dimmed out Unselect button.
The Select 50 button will no longer show when the maximum amount has been selected.
If you make a mistake you can click on Unselect to deselect one or more farmers OR you can start over by clicking on the Unselect All at the bottom of the window.






To send the gift click on Send Request at the bottom of right of the window.



A brief notification will show towards the top of the window.
This notification shows hens eggs sent to 2 farmers:



The Gifts you can select to send then will show up again, should you need to send more gifts.




The Pending Gifts tab will have a number on it when you have gifts to accept/exchange. If the tab is not orange, click on it to view it.

The maximum amount of Gifts that the Pending Gift section of the Gift Manager will keep will be 5000, the rest will be automatically deleted.

Pending gifts that are not accepted in a 60 day time frame will be removed automatically.


This had to be done due to too many players keeping too many gifts without accepting them which has a negative impact on our database storage.

Please keep in mind the amount of Neighbours and Buddies that you have that could be sending you gifts daily and that farmers that own the gifting machines will be able to send gifts more often than others could. If you have a considerable amount of gifts Pending, the safest thing to do is to accept them regularly.

You have to accept gifts in the Pending section, before you will be able to see, store or use them in the My Gifts section. Once you have accepted them here you can not exchange them again!

You can also Return gifts to farmers after accepting them, if you have not already sent them a gift.

If you see Manage instead of Neighbour or Buddy under any profile/avatar picture that means that farmer has YOU on their Neighbour or Buddy List but you do not have them on either your own Neighbour or Buddy list.
In order for you to be able to send them a gift you will need to click on Manage and add them to whichever list you choose that you have room to add them to.

Example of some gifts:




At the top of Pending Gifts are 3 buttons:

Accept All Accepts up to a maximum of 100 gifts that you have received and will be sent to the My Gifts section for you to use/store.

If you are able to Return Gifts to those Farmers you will then also see the Send Gift Back to All button which you can click on which will show the gift list again for you to select one gift to return to all of the farmers that you have not already sent a gift to.

Exchange All Exchanges up to the first 100 gifts. You will be shown the Select Item window so you can choose the gift that you want.



The search bar is where you can type in the name of a gift OR you can click on the Funnel Filter and use one of those to filter the gifts by type.



As you mouseover a gift the background turns yellow and the Select button appears.



Click on Select on a gift to exchange your gifts for that gift.

Your gifts will be exchanged and you can use the Accept All at the top of the window to send them to the My Gifts section for you to use/store.

Once you have accepted your gifts there is a Load More Gifts button you can click on to see if you have more gifts to accept.

When you have exchanged all gifts for a specific gift the Last Exchange All button will no longer be dimmed out and you can then click on it to automatically change the next page of gifts for the exact same gift. After clicking on it, remember to Accept the Gifts!




If you do not want to accept/exchange ALL gifts, you can use the individual Accept and Exchange buttons on each gift to accept/exchange gifts one at a time.



Accept sends that gift to My Gifts without exchanging it.

Exchange will let you exchange that specific gift for something else.
When you click on Exchange you will see the list of gifts.
Click on the blue Select button on the gift that you want to change it for.
That will change the gift.
Then you click on Accept to send it to the My Gifts section.

FARM PASS GOALS - After sending/accepting gifts ingredients or bonuses in the Gift Manager or when using the Other Wall Requests page. Reload your game to make sure the counter on your Goal updates!!!

The Account tab above the Website game screen has 4 sections.

The 1st section is different to what we had on the Facebook game and we have a new section!





Profile - this replaces the Preferences section seen in the Facebook game. In addition to changing your avatar name and gender, now you will be able to change your real first name, your email and your password and update your website profile picture.

In order to change your email you don't need to have access to your old email, but you do need to have access to your new email. Keeping a valid email as your farmtown email is very important since this is the only way you will be able to recover access to your farms if you forget your password.

Profile replaces the Preferences Section in the Facebook game.
Changing Avatar Name, Real First Name and Avatar Gender:



To Change your Avatar Name, click in the box where your Avatar Name is, delete everything in that box and type in your new Avatar Name.
Then click on Change to save it.
When you next reload the game your Avatar name will be changed.


To Change your Real First Name, click in the box where your Real Name is, delete everything in that box and type in your new Name.
Your real first name must contain only letters, no spaces or numbers!
Then click on Change to save it.
When you next reload the game your Real First Name will be changed in places where it shows up, like when a Neighbour mouses over their Neighbours in the Neighbours Bar at the bottom of the game screen




To Change your Avatar Gender, click on the drop down arrow where your Avatar Gender is and both options will show up.
Click on the Gender you wish to use.
Then click on Change to save it.
When you next reload the game your Avatar Gender will be changed.

Changing Email:

You will see a window showing your current email address.
Below that type in your new email address.
Make sure that you do not make any mistakes when typing. If you do correct them before you click on Continue.

When you are sure that your new email is typed correctly. Click on Continue.



You will then see a window like this. It will show your new email address that the code was sent to.
The A arrow indicates the box to type the code in.
The B box is what you click on after entering your code correctly.



Go to your Inbox of your emails and look for the email.

If it's not there check your spam/junk folder and see if it went there instead.
If you didn't get an email you can click on the Didn't get a code link below the box marked A, in the picture above, which will open a new tab in your browser where you can try logging in with your new email address.

NOTE: If you tend to save your login details to your browser it can show the old details and you will have to remove the old email address and enter the new one along with your password.

If your new email doesn't work, reload the website and in the email address line enter your USER ID instead of the email.

If that works then you need to start over to try to change it again. The cause could be that the email entered was typed slightly wrong.

Your email will look similar to this but will have your own code in it which will likely be different to this example.



Once you have entered the code and clicked on Continue....


You will see confirmation that your email has been changed and will be asked to click on Continue once more:

You will see the Account page again. From there you can click on Play at the top to load Farm Town.

That's it you are Done!



If you make too many mistakes or the code/link in your email doesn't work you will see this and be asked to Start Over:

Before you try changing your Password, if you have forgotten it, try putting a check mark in the box for Show Hint
That will show you the first and last characters of your current password with the middle section hidden.
If that is enough of a hint and you can log in then you don't need to change it.



To change your Password when you know your current Password:


In the Profile Section click on Change to the right of your Password Hint:



You will see a window with the email address that is currently registered on the Slashkey Website.

Check that email address is correct and that you have access to read the emails.

If you don't then you need to stop at this point and change your email address to one that you do have access to.
Note: You can not use the same email address for more than one account.

If the email address is correct. Type your current Password into the box.
Make sure that you do not make any mistakes when typing. If you do correct them before you click on Continue.
