Hi AnnaWalls,
I moved your post to the thread about loading the game. There are players who play on Macs. That is all I can tell you as none of the moderators use Macs. The game uses Unity WebGL version 2.0 which is part of your browsers. It may be that some browsers don't work werll, but there are options that do work ok.

I can help here, I hope it is allowed. I am running a 2019 MacBook Pro. The game works well and I am happy. I don't have most of the troubles I see people complaining about here.

Hi, I don't know if it is related to the new update but in Firefox it takes again ages to load the game. I compared to Google Chrome where the game loads almost immediately.
This problem in Firefox is an old problem occuring again. It has been better for a while, but now it is there again.
For info: Firefox is up-to-date. Clearing memcache does not help.
I add a print screen to show where it stucks.

Default Game not loading when working wall requests

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right Thread to post this issue.

When the game was still on facebook, there were times when I received error-messages when loading the game. Clearing the cache usually helped.

The last months, the game was very stable with no error messages when I worked others facilities. But since the last upgrade, in more than 90% of my attempts to work the wall request the game does not load. Sometimes the screen just stays black with the the software logo, in half of the cases an error messages shows up. Clearing cache does not help, the problem occurs in all browsers I use. Software is updated.
Any ideas?

Best regards, Ursula

Hi Palmarina,
I use Firefox and do not have any problems with the loading. There is nothing the developers can do about individual browsers.

Hi Ursula

You do not tell us which error is showing up.

Anyway, please be sure the browser you are using is up to date and also if your operation system is updated.
After any update it is always better to restart the computer.

You have more suggestions to try in the first post, first page of this thread.

Hi Uma

I'm not sure which browser you are using but if it is Chrome then it is not up to date.
Please chech for any update for the browser you use and then restart your computer.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Marymarcel,
I tested now Chrome, Edge, Opera and Opera GX; the last one is a new installation from 2 days ago. The problem occurs in all of them, the browsers are all up to date. I have no pending update on my computer, so everything should be fine.

If it is not the error message from the picture I added in my last post, the error message says:

ERRORFailed to download file https://cdn.slashkey.com/flash/farm/...ild636.data.gz

If I reload the page, it usually works. Sometimes I have to reload a page several times. It does not matter how many requests I try to work at the same time. It is the same problem if I only try to work one single request. About 10-20% attempts to work a request load by the first try. The rest is about 50% the error message in the popup-window (see photo attached) or the message underneath the game frame I wrote above.

Just to explain again how it worked before the last update of the game: Until last week, I was able to work up to 30 requests at the same time in different tabs. In all tabs, the game loaded without problems. So I could click just through the tabs to start.

Best regards, Ursula
