It would be nice if you could select multiple items you need for a quest from a factory.

For example if you need 3 different colors of ink for example, go to the ink factory once and select the 3 colors in one visit as opposed to going to the factory, picking one color, going back to the quest, click to open the ink factory again, select the next color, go BACK to the quest, open the ink factory AGAIN and pick the 3rd color.

Right now I have a quest that needs 6 different things from 2 different mines which means I'll be going back and forth from the quest to the mines 4 more times than I should have to.

I moved your post from Suggestions to be able to answer you.

You can do start different items from the same facility for a quest.

For example, if you have to start blue ink, red ink and yellow ink, you clik in let say, blue ink to open the Ink and Pigments factory.
You start a batch for each of them.

When you close the factory you will see that only the blue ink is showing up the time as it was the one you selected to open the factory.
But if you close and reopen the quest manager you will see all 3 inks were started.

I had no idea the facilities worked like that.
I had tried clicking multiple items but hadn't closed and re-opened the quest.

Will we soon be able to help each other on quests - or buy needed items in the marketplace for quests? I've tried 3 times recently, bought what I needed or my friends gave me what I needed, and game refuses to apply those purchases or help to my quest.

Why not just fix this so everything we start shows in our quest box without having to reload?

Hi jankath61453,

Is this your Make Toast Crackers Quest which you have the trading lifeline for?
You can only trade for primary products with that. It looks like you have completed most of the steps on it already. Which product were you trying to buy from others for that?

About your 2nd question.

No. I've been playing farmtown since practically the day it started on FB (for a few years under a different name.) I already know there are items you can buy and apply for a quest and not. And no - it was 3 other quests. And yes, previously before 2021, these were items you could get from your friends or from the marketplace. But thank you for your reply.

Hi jankath61453,

Without knowing what Quest and what product you were trying to buy from others there's not a lot we can do to test that particular problem.

Do you recall if the problem was with buying crops, fish, logs, tree fruits, flowers or animal products?

Next time you get a problem with the trading lifeline please let us know which quest it is and what product it is you are trying to buy that isn't working so we have an idea of where the problem is.

Or if you wish when you next get the same problem you can report it to the support team.
