What are the Belt/Dan Bonuses?

The belts add a new way of getting bonus products in Farm Town. The belts have different colors for each Rank, Just like in Karate or Judo.

A new Belt for a product can be achieved by harvesting, producing that product a number of times.

Your current Belt achieved for crops, trees and flowers is shown in the store.
If you mouse over the product icon you will see how many harvests are required to reach the next Belt.

To see ALL of your belts and dans at any time you can open the Belts manager in the Toolbox.
You can check on belts/dans for seeds, trees, flowers, fish and products. Mouse over any bonus and you will see the amount needed to reach the next belt/dan.

Every time you or an employee harvest in your farm the counter for the harvested product is incremented by one. ***The employee counters are not incremented***.

When you reach a new Belt there will be more chances that in future harvests for that product you get an extra product.

When you reach brown belt or higher, for harvests or products, you will have an opportunity to post it.

Your post will show up on the Other Wall Requests page where your Neighbours and Buddies will see them and be able to send you one from there.
NOTE You will NOT see your own Bonuses there.

Example of a bonus post:

With the check mark removed you will no longer see more popups when you achieve more bonuses until you next reload the game.
This option can be useful if you tend to get a lot of bonuses and would like to wait until you have more within 12 hours before choosing which ones to post.
You can post a maximum of 5 in a 12 hour period.

With the check mark added, you if you earn more belts/dans you will continue to see more popups in that session.

When you see that popup you have 2 options.
You can post the belt/dan immediately by clicking on the green check marks which will open your Belt Manager so you can see all your recently earned Belts/Dans.

OR you can wait and see if you get any more bonuses then choose which ones to post. If you want to wait, click on the red X. Remember that these will expire 12 hours after being earned so you will need to post the ones you want, before that time runs out.

To post immediately, click on the green check mark and it will take you to the Recent Belts section of the Belts manager.

Example:

Clicking on Request bonus of xxx requests that bonus.

Posting options:
If you ONLY want to post your request to Other Wall Requests where your Neighbours and Buddies will see them remove the check mark from the Post to request to Facebook box before clicking on the green check mark.
Your request will only post to Other Wall Requests.
NOTE: There is no popup to confirm to post to Other Wall Requests.
All you will see is a brief notification that says "Request Sent"

If you want to post your request to Facebook AND to Other Wall Requests add the check mark to the Post request to Facebook box before clicking on the green check mark.

You will then see a 2nd popup.

Click the green check mark and you will see the Facebook posting box.

Click on the blue Post to Facebook button to post to Facebook.

Your request will also post to Other Wall Requests.

If you clicked on the red X instead to cancel posting to Facebook you request will still post to Other Wall Requests.

To see all your recent belt/dan bonuses at a later time:

Click on the Toolbox bottom right of your game screen to open it.
The Belts Manager is on the left side near the bottom of the 2nd column. When you hover over the icon it displays Your Belts. Click on the icon to open it.

At the top of the window click on Recent Belts so the background turns orange.
You will then see all your recent belts/dans so you can choose which ones to post.

Example:
The Belts Manger has 6 sections. If you wish you can click on the section you want to see instead of seeing all Recent Belts. As you click on each section the background of that section will turn orange to indicate which section you are viewing at that time.
The message in red at the top of the window, tells you how many belt/dan bonuses you can post in the next 12 hours.

In the example above There are 3 recent belts/dans. Air Dancer has not been requested yet, Yellow Ink has already been requested so this farmer can post another 4 belts/dans.
The information in each bonus box tells you how long you have left to be able to post that particular belt/dan.
When you have posted a Bonus to Other Wall Requests, the message in the box will change to already requested and the red message at the top of the window will change to reflect how many you have left that you can post.
If you have waited too long to post a belt/dan not posted before the 12 hour time ran out the bonus will show expired.
The green question mark, when clicked on, will give you more information on that item, like what it can be used for, where it may be used to make something else or where it can be stocked.

When you have more than 8 belts to choose from there will be a scroll bar to the right of the window you can use to scroll the list.
The A-Z filter for "Recent Belts" lets you sort by

Belt or Dan degree
Product Name
Newest Belts First
Oldest Belts First
The Funnel filter lets you sort by specific belt or dan.

What are the belt bonuses?

There are 2 sets of belts. One is for Crops, trees, flowers, fish. The other is for Products.

The bonus for each belts are as follows

- White Belt - No extra harvest/batch

- Yellow Belt -

For Crops etc: 5% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 2% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- Orange Belt -

For Crops etc: 10% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 4% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- Green Belt -

For Crops etc: 16% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 7% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- Blue Belt -

For Crops etc: 22% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 10% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- Brown Belt -

For Crops etc: 29% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 14% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- Black Belt -

For Crops etc: 36% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 18% chance for an extra batch in facilities

For example, when you reach the Black Belt for Wheat, from that point on when you harvest wheat there will be a 36% chance of getting an extra box of Wheat.

What are the Dan bonuses?

Users on levels 100 and higher will be able to specialise even more on a Black Belt product by reaching different degrees of Black Belts which are called Dans (ranks). This should give users in higher levels a bigger challenge, as achieving all 7 Dan degrees on a product is harder than reaching all the 7 Belts. Here are the benefits when reaching each Dan degree:

There are 2 sets of dans. One is for Crops, trees, flowers, fish. The other is for Products.

- 1st Dan Degree -

For Crops etc: 41% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 21% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- 2nd Dan Degree -

For Crops etc: 46% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 24% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- 3rd Dan Degree -

For Crops etc: 52% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 28% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- 4th Dan Degree -

For Crops etc: 58% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 32% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- 5th Dan Degree -

For Crops etc: 65% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 37% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- 6th Dan Degree -

For Crops etc: 72% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 42% chance for an extra batch in facilities

- 7th Dan Degree - Level 200 and above.

For Crops etc: 78% chances for an extra harvest
For Products : 48% chance for an extra batch in facilities

How do i know what belts i have?

To see what Belts/Dans you have achieved, click your yellow tool box and click the belt icon, as shown in the image below. It's in the seond column, near the bottom.

The window that opens up shows you 5 different categories of belts (seeds, trees, flowers, fish and products), and what belts you have achieved in them, as the image below shows. There is also Recent Belts which will show you any belts you earned in the last 12 hours.

The A-Z filter for seeds, trees, flowers, fish and products lets you sort by "Belt or Dan degree", or by "Product Name".
The A-Z filter for "Recent Belts" also lets you sort by "Newest Belts First" or "Oldest Belts First"

The Funnel filter lets you sort by specific belt or dan.

If you hover your mouse over a product, it will tell you how many of that product you currently have in storage, and also how many more are needed to achieve the next belt/dan

The Recent Belts section, shows you any belt/dans you have recently achieved that you have not posted to Facebook yet. You can post 5 in 12 hours.

How often can I post and collect bonuses/ingredients?

The amount of bonuses and ingredients you can earn every 12 hours is set by the coin value of those bonuses or ingredients and also your game level.

There is a limit for bonuses and separate limit for ingredients.

For example if you were to reach the limit for bonuses sent to you, you can still receive ingredients until you also reach the limit for that and vise versa.

You can post 5 bonus belts and 5 ingredients requests in 12 hours.

The Maximum amount of coins you can earn increases according to your game level.
The limits are the same amount for bonuses and ingredients.
For example if you are Level 100 you can claim 1,000,000 coins worth of bonuses and 1,000,000 coins worth of ingredients.

The Limits are as follows:

When you are at your limit you will see a message telling you that you are at your limit similar to this:
"No items were sent to your storage by the Mayor since you already reached the limit of 1,000,000 Coins worth of products every 12 hours”

This does not prevent you from continuing to help your friends as long as they are not at their own limit, you can still help them by sending them their bonuses/ingredients.

When your friend is at their limit you will see a similar message:
"No items were sent since your friend already reached the limit of 1,000,000 Coins worth of products every 12 hours"

This does not prevent your friend from sending your bonuses/ingredients, they can still send them to help you out until you reach your limit for that 12 hour period.

If i'm getting a bonus, why does my facility still read 100%?

The bonus is included in the 100%, for example, if you get a 32% bonus, only 68% of the products used are from your own storage, the other 32% is free

I clicked the checkbox so popups don't appear, how do i undo this?

All you need to do to undo this is reload your game. To do this click on "Play" at the top of your game screen.
