What are the Belt/Dan Bonuses?

The belts add a new way of getting bonus products in Farm Town. The belts have different colors for each Rank, Just like in Karate or Judo

A new Belt for a product can be achieved by harvesting.producing that product a number of times.

The current Belt achieved for a product is shown in the store. If you mouse over the product icon you will see how many harvests are required to reach the next Belt.

Every time you or an employee harvest in your farm the counter for the harvested product is incremented by one. ***The employee counters are not incremented***.

When you reach a new Belt there will be more chances that in future harvests for that product you get an extra product.

What are the belt bonuses?

The bonus for each belts are as follows

- White Belt - No extra harvest/batch
- Yellow Belt - 5% chances for an extra harvest / 2% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- Orange Belt - 10% chances for an extra harvest / 4% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- Green Belt - 16% chances for an extra harvest / 7% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- Blue Belt - 22% chances for an extra harvest / 10% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- Brown Belt - 29% chances for an extra harvest / 14% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- Black Belt - 36% chances for an extra harvest / 18% chance for an extra batch in facilities


For example, when you reach the Black Belt for Wheat, from that point on when you harvest wheat there will be a 36% chance of getting an extra box of Wheat.

What are the Dan bonuses?

Users on levels 150 and higher will be able to specialize even more on a Black Belt product by reaching different degrees of Black Belts which are called Dans (ranks). This should give users in higher levels a bigger challange, as achieving all 6 Dan degrees on a product is about 4 or 5 times harder than reaching all the 6 Belts. Here are the benefits when reaching each Dan degree:

- 1st Dan Degree - 41% chances for an extra harvest / 21% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- 2nd Dan Degree - 46% chances for an extra harvest / 24% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- 3rd Dan Degree - 52% chances for an extra harvest / 28% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- 4th Dan Degree - 58% chances for an extra harvest / 32% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- 5th Dan Degree - 65% chances for an extra harvest / 37% chance for an extra batch in facilities
- 6th Dan Degree - 72% chances for an extra harvest / 42% chance for an extra batch in facilities

How do i know what belts i have?

To see what Belts/Dans you have achieved, go to your extended tool box and click the belt icon, as shown in the image below.



The window that opens up shows you 5 different categories of belts (seeds, trees, flowers, fish and products), and what belts you have achieved in them, as the image below shows.



If you hover your mouse over a product, it will tell you how many of that product you currently have in storage, and also how many more are needed to achieve the next belt/dan

How often can i post/collect a bonus?



Currently you can earn up to 1,000,000 coins every 12 hour from Ingredient Posts and another 1,000,000 coins every 12 hour from Bonus Posts. You can post 5 bonus belts in 12 hours.

For users in higher levels instead of 1,000,000 this limit will be increased as follows:

Levels 100-199 - 3,000,000 coins
Levels 200-299 - 4,000,000 coins
Levels 300-399 - 5,000,000 coins

If i'm getting a bonus, why does my facility still read 100%?



The bonus is included in the 100%, for example, if you get a 32% bonus, only 68% of the products used are from your own storage, the other 32% is free

I clicked the checkbox so popups don't appear, how do i undo this?



All you need to do to undo this is reload your game, not refresh your farm, but reload farmtown. Either by clicking the play button, or your browser refresh.
