Arrow Plowing - How to and Info on problems

Plowing Tool To plow, simply click on this tool.

If you want your plots to be right up against each other instead of having space between each one, you must first make sure that "remove spaces between fields" is checked in the preferences menu (under the wrench/spanner icon). Fields which are already plowed or harvested must be deleted first and replowed with this option checked in order to get them right up against each other.

Hire to Plow To be able to hire others to plow for you, you will need to have 10+ neighbours. Click on a person and you will see an option, Hire to Plow. This means that you will not only have others to plow your farm, you will also receive the XP as usual and only have to pay 15 coins instead of 20. If however you hire a neighbour, you will only have to pay 10 coins per plow instead of 20, that’s a saving of 50%.

Being Hired to Plow other Users When plowing you will get 1XP and 5 coins per plow. Remember, you can only use the 1x1 plowing size tool when plowing for others, but you can queue plows which makes it a lot quicker. See 1.4.

Plowing Sizes Furthermore you can now plow with at a size of 2 fields x 1 field and 4 fields x 4 fields (as well as the 1 field x 1 field). To use this feature you must have 10 neighbours or above. Additionally, this feature can only be used at your farm, not when you’re plowing for other users which have hired you. You will note though, this is very quick as you can plow 4x4 and use the queuing option which is typically handy for plowing large farms yourself.

The Latest Issues and Solutions
  • Machine plows 1field at a time instead 4- Solution - Make sure that under preferences (the wrench) "Remove Spaces Between Fields" is checked.
  • Plowing Turns Fields into Grass - A solution that works for some is to make sure you have ‘Remove Spaces Between Fields’ under preferences (the wrench). Though this doesn't work for some it does for others. Officials are in dialogue to try and resolve the issue for all but for now try this solution. Also try reloading the farm and the grass will often return back to a plowed field.

Arrow plowing/seeding

Since I upgraded to using the 4 x 4 tools to harvest and sow, I'm having some issues with some plots seeming to 'resist' being worked. I click the 4 x 4 area and one or more plots will appear to be harvested or sowed and then when I move on to the next area, it goes back to it's previous state. At first I didn't notice and would come back later to see that some plots were just blank plowed areas.

This only seems to occur when using the 4 x 4 tools.

(Please don't tell me to clear the cache - I do that routinely every day.)

Hello there. Could you please supply a link to your farm please. The button up top of out of order so you will need to do so manually. Follow the link in my signature for instructions. Thank you!

Default plowing

Yesterday I had a neighbor plow one of my farms. But when I returned to said farm, I saw that it was again unplowed. What could be the problem? She plowed again and same thing happened: it appears un plowed. Thank you for your help.
