Default What is the "Send as a gift" option in the tree section?

This option is not used to send the tree on which you clicked as a gift, but it refers you to the application that allows you to send a gift to your Facebook contacts directly by selecting the tree. You select your friend the normal way from the lists.

You do have to be at a certain game level to be able to send some of the gift trees. If you have not reached the correct level, when you try to send it, you will see a message telling you it is locked and to select a different gift. When you have reached the level required you will be able to send it.

The "Request as a Gift" just below that option, allows you to post to Facebook requesting that specific item, so your friends can send it to you. There is no level requirement for this. If you have received a gift tree and placed it on your farm you can request it as a gift to get more of them, even though you can't send it yourself when you are not at a high enough level.

These options also work for gifted flowers.

Note These items count in your daily limit requests

Default How do I hide trees and show them again?

How do I hide trees and show them again?

The majority of Trees, mostly those that can be harvested or chopped, are in the Tree and Coin Items category. Most of these are in the Tree section of the Store to purchase, or are ones that can be sent to you as gifts.

Some decorative trees are only earned as reward from Farm Pass which is a different category.

To Hide the majority of All Trees:
This is your preferences icon which you will find top right of your game screen. Click on it and it will open your Preferences window.

Remove the Check Mark from Show Trees then click on the green check mark at the bottom of the window to save the change.

How to Show All Trees:
This depends on what method you used to Hide the trees.
There are 3 ways that could have been used to hide them.

Method 1. If none of them are showing you need to check your preferences.

This is your preferences icon which you will find top right of your game screen. Click on it and it will open your Preferences window.

Make sure there is a check mark in the box for Show Trees AND Show Coin Items then click on the green check mark at the bottom of the window to save the change.

Method 2. To hide perhaps a small section of trees....

You can use the Hide Tool in your Yellow Toolbox (looks like a closed eye) Click on the tool to pick it up then click each tree to hide it. NOTE: This tool will hide anything you click on so be careful not to click something you did not intend to hide.

Method 3. To hide one tree or all of a specific tree...

You can click on each individual tree and use the "Hide" option from the menu that opens, to hide one tree or all of a specific tree.

When you have used either methods 2 or 3 to hide your trees and you want to see them again....

If you only have one farm, you need to click on "Play" to reload your game and the hidden trees will show back up.

If you have 2 farms or or more you can refresh your farm instead of clicking on the Play tab above your game screen to reload the whole game.

In this case you will see a green grid top left of your game screen titled SHOW NAMES

Underneath that, each of the rectangles represents one of your farms.

The one that is coloured yellow represents the farm you are currently on, click on it and it will reload that farm.

If you find the rectangle too small, mouseover over that grid and it will expand so you can see it easier and have a bigger rectangle to click on.

OR you can click on SHOW NAMES and it will show you a big window listing all of your farms. Just click on the name of the farm you want to refresh or go to.

Default When I plant a tree from storage, why is it not ready to harvest?

Storing trees resets their growth.

If you place a tree ready to be harvested into storage and then place it back on to the farm, it will need to regrow.

With chop trees they will come out as already chopped and again, need to regrow.

Default Why are some trees locked in the store?

The trees are divided into two categories:
  • Those you can buy, and those which are locked until you reach the level required to buy them.
  • Those you can only receive as gifts, whatever your level.

When an Item is Locked in the Store, you need to reach the level listed before you can buy it.
Some of the gift items, on the gift page, also have level restrictions, when you have reached the level required for those they will become available for you to send to your friends.
Even if you have not reached the level to be able to send a particular item from the gifts page, you ARE able to accept those gifts and use them when a friend sends them to you.

The two icons top right of the Tree section in the store allow you to filter the Trees in the Store to show specific types of trees. Or you can use the search box, type in the name of the tree you are looking for.

Clicking this will allow you to filter the trees by:
  • All
  • Current level only
  • Harvest in 12 hours
  • Harvest in 1 day
  • Harvest in 2 days
  • Harvest in 3 days
  • Harvest in 4 days

Clicking this will allow you to filter the trees by:
  • Level Required
  • Alphabetically
  • Cost
  • Harvest time
  • Stored Amount
  • Belt/Dans
  • Category
