i am NOT speculating slashkey put up the notice to start to buddy our friends now ,, however there is no info in chapter 5 as to what buddies can and can not do so that we can decide on who to neighbor vs buddy ....

please stop accusing players of 'speculating' when we ask questions on information slashkey is posting to us,,,

problem is the message says to bubby now before the switch or we will lose those friends ...... but without some info we do not know which to friend and which to neighbor depending on how we interact with those players ....

Hi JNelson,
That is a decision you have to make. Remember that you can only have so many neighbors. If you have them as friends only right now then make them buddies. If you want to be able to do more with them in the game then make them neighbors.
We are working on getting as much information out as we can as quickly as we can. There is also information in red in each of the sections like the gift sending and my requests that the developers have added that might help you.

I want my farmer friends on new web site but do not necessarily want them as neighbours. Can I change them from neighbours to buddies once on new site?

Hi Rodkay,
You can make them buddies in the Facebook version now instead of making them neighbors.

Good morning. Not sure if this is the correct place for it, but it regards Buddies - the hot new topic. I know how to add them, but what is going on with the "zzz Archived User (zzz Archived User)? I know my Buddy list was completely empty for many years, so no inactive ones.

Hi Early Girl,
If it says Archived User that means they have not played for a long time. If it was me I would remove them.

Thanks Taz, I have - multiple times, and they keep appearing (farm version of Ground Hog Day). I haven't used buddy's in over 10 years. I even checked through those years - it was empty. Should I ask Support?

I am not sure they can help but yes. When you delete them are you also deleting yourself from their list? If not be sure you do that.

I don't have an option to delete myself from their list. (1 sided makes sense). BUT, they are inactive and I have no way of contacting them to do so. Especially considering some may have passed.
