i was using the harvester this morning, compled the harvest, went to market sold crops, came back to farm, crops returned.
i also lost all my fuel and was told cant refuel for 16 hours +
ended up hireing the harvest which didnot return

my question is what happened and how do i get my fuel back cause would like to use the planter to plant

I was only hiring people to harvest and plow because it took so long to do myself, plot by plot. Today I did everything in record time. It's well worth the cost of the machines and fuel to be able to do it and not stand in the marketplace with children screaming "PLOW!" every millisecond.

I also purchased the harvester to use else where even if your only allowed to use at a neighbors place would be good. The purpose of the market is to hire people so why would you need a harvester if you can't use it else where. Same with the plower. What good is it unless you plow your self and then that doesn't give someone else a chance get points. Oh Well just a thought.

i agree with Chip. there is no sense having the plower or harvester machines if you like hiring the work out. I bought both and it was a waste of my coins. I do like the seeder though.
Why cant they let us use the others when we are working someone else's farm?

Can you help when i use harvester and seeder then go to sell my harvest in market its dosnt show on the coin registrar what ive just sold ,its ok if i dont use harvester or seeder my points do show..

I have to agree...unfortunately I bought the equipment before I understood how they work...so now they are just lawn ornaments! :-(
I was hoping we could use them on other farms.... seems like that'd be a fair advantage over the other pickers since we spent such big bucks for them.

It doesn't seem like the devs put whole lot of thought into this one, just a knee-jerk reaction to FarmVille. Why am I playing both of these games when they are just copying each other? Then again I could kick myself for my own knee-jerk reaction of buying them before I found out what they did. The seeder seems to be the only one of any use. I had assumed that you could approve a worker to use the machinery when plowing or harvesting and they could do it faster. I know some of my hired harvesters have been kind of frustrated at how slow the harvesting was going. Would it not have made sense to let us enable workers to use them so they could get the job done faster? No one with any sense is going to use these if they don't have any benefits.

you lose coins on the harvester and plow. you spend money to buy them. you lose coins if you use them. what the point of these new tools?????

With everyone's comments about what they want in the next upgrade, I do not think I have seen anyone mention how we need more crops too! There are so many things that could still be planted...asparagus, mushrooms, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, just to name a few things!

We do agree that we need larger farms, especially those of us who have already reached the maximum capacity on our farms. We should also have a store where we can buy new clothes as well.

I like these ideas, I would love to be able to wear something different!!!!
