Not to start a war, but...

there are just as many upset FB posters for various issues...

not all of us on MS are nearly as vocal on issues...

due to platform issues, MS does get the shaft on a good number of things and it would be nice if we had different compensations for the short comings. Most games I play, there are obvious differences between the platforms, each has it's +/-, with FT most of the MS users have negatives, no positives for being an MS FT player...

making coins is not an easy feat either, when a facility says it will take 6 hours for 1 batch, it will take 6 hours period (facilities are not the cash cow on MS as they are on FB, they make good coin, just not a cash cow)...

the true irony here is that FB users are posting about not being able to help out on neighbors farms to inc production and get goods, fireman5214 was eluding to 'welcome to our (MS) world, where we don't get to either 24/7' (and this is not a glitch, it's just how we are supposed to function)...

we (well myself anyway) are not looking for special treatment, just perhaps evening things out between the platforms (the things that slashkey has control of that is)

Ummm... I've never had an account deactivated by MS for overuse. I have had 2 accounts on FB deactivated, even after spending real cash on 3rd party vendor games. FB did not care that I spent money on games from 3rd party vendors, they deactivated anyway. Not everyone has a pleasant experience w/ MS, not everyone has a pleasant experience w/ FB.

This one I have to agree with. Which is really weird when you consider that all the other games I play, FB is way more restrictive compared to MS. I have over 1000 cyber friends for gaming w/ other programs, but FT is extremely limited on MS for some reason. As for game speed, I have not noticed any appreciable lag.

So basically it just screws the peolpe that won't be able to get 30 neighbors.
If you don't want to add strangers permanently, then I would suggest that you save enough coin to upgrade farm 3 to a 24X24. Go to the "add neighbors thread". Add all the strangers you need to get to 30, buy and upgrade farm 3, then delete the neighbors off your FB account. I don't delete cyber friends, even if I don't know them unless they get weird on me. I have, however, had multitudes of people drop me after they got what they needed.

I never had an account deactivated due to overuse. I cancelled the MS account myself.

I understood that, my point was referencing the fact that: your understanding is that Myspace is not helpful when it comes to playing games with limits put on areas that do effect games.(slight paraphrase)

I lost 2 FB accounts because of limits FB put on games. Yes it is their platform and they have their TOS and users need to follow their TOS if they wish to continue using their platform. After spending money on other games and loosing the accounts, I no longer wish to use their platform.

My point was that for every user that refuses to use MS for whatever reason, you will easily find an equal number of users that feel the same way about FB. I'm not bashing FB users, just throwing out some facts is all.

Anything short of 1 day is the full amount of time for FB users as well. 6 hours is 6 hours is 6 hours. It is only the farming "day" that is not a full 24 hours, but 20.

I believe what Doc meant is that Myspace users do not have the option of helping each other move product through in their facilities like FB users.

Yes in both regards. I was under the impression that when you received help from your neighbors that the production time was decreased. I was unaware that the cap was set at a single day of production. If I understand you correctly, you get help from neighbors to speed up production, but MS and FB are equal in that the facilities will only produce so much per day, whether it be done in the 1st hour w/ help on FB or over the entire day as the devs designed on MS...

If that's the case, then I retract my previous statement about facilities being a cash cow on FB and not on MS.

I believe that after you have a few people work in your facility you can add more to production ..... i could be wrong .........MODS how does that work??

The limit is - in most cases - 15 days production. With a few exceptions (the ones above 3000 units) then 30 neighbors can empty the facilities. So if I fully stock them and 30 neighbors come over and work, I get 15 days production per day. Add in another 90 neighbors and I fill my facilities 3 or 4 times a day. Super major cash cow.
MS users are stuck with the production of the facility alone.

So, not, its not the case. MS farmers can't get the production that FB can.

That's kind of what I thought. On the flip side, we have much, much less land issues. With proper planning it does not take long to get and keep facilities at 15 days of production

Soooo, it may take awhile to get farm 4 fully upgraded, but I guess I really don't need farm 4 anyways
