How do I fish?


To fish, all you need is some sort of pond, lake, or river on your farm. You click on the fishing pole, click on the water and hopefully you will catch a fish on your first click! Some of the water may take a few more clicks.

How do i know when my fish are ready to be fished?

Click on the fishing pole and hover over a water. It will show you % grown. When you see 100% grown the waters are full. If you have "Dim Out Non Relevant Items for Tools" checked in your game settings. Remove the check mark in that box, then hover over the waters.

The fishing pole is found in the yellow tool box where the camera and watering can are.

What kind I of water do I need for fish?


Any of the water in the store will work for fishing. Each type of water holds different fish and a different amount.

Each piece of water holds a different amount of fish.

• River piece: 32 fish; 4 types
• River corner: 16 fish; 4 types
• Bridge: 32 fish; 4 types
• Big lake with boat: 199 fish; 6 types
• Big lake: 229 fish; 5 types
• Small lake: 46 fish; 6 types
• Small pond: 18 fish; 2 types
• Big pond: 86 fish; 3 types
• Small sea coast: 99/122 fish; 7 types

What kinds of fish are there?


There are a few varities of fish and they sell for different prices at the market.

What can I do with the fish?

Once you catch a fish, it goes into your storage. You can then sell the fish at the marketplace.

Or you can use the fish in the sushi restaurant or the seafood restaurant to make dishes.

If there is nothing next to it, it's not used for anything except to sell at the market.

Using bait

You can now use bait to fish. Using the bait will give you (and the owner) 2x the fish and uses it from the owner of the water's account.


You can get freshwater bait (lakes, ponds, rivers) or seawater bait (for sea coasts). Bait is available by gifting, producing in the Fish Farming Plant or by working a neighbours Fishing Tackle shop which has bait stocked. All bait is stored with the waters.





The water will tell you how much bait is left, if you hover over it with your mouse.
