In the long run those FC are FAR more valuable and rare than the 100 million coins. I earn almost 100 million coins when one friend works my facilities but only get 25 FC when the dev dribble them out every 3 months. I think you'll be happier you didn't WASTE FC on an expansion.

Use them on a tool upgrade instead. You won't regret it!
