I saw that my fuel was getting to around 14 billion, so I used the Fuel Station to top it off and the game decided that 14 billion plus 50 billion equals 14 billion. I tried clearing the mem cache and refreshing the game but it still counted my filling for the day and left me with 14 billion.

I just checked and the amount you refueled with was 515,216,190 so millions, not billions. That brought you from 14,019,795,184 up to 14,535,010,530.

Okies. That explains it. I usually refill around 15 billion to keep the number from getting too big in the Fuel Station. I get a lot of random errors when I post factory and shop boost requests and / or from my internet becoming unstable, so I prefer to even though I have so much fuel that I sell it.
