@Taz...Just upgraded my internet speed to nearly 40mbps. Will this speed up the game? Hope so!

Hi Lisa,
Your internet speed can be 1gbps and it won't change your speed in your computer. It depends on how fast your computer can receive the data and even the fastest home computers can only receive up to 100 kbps. Most computers use a 10kbps connection.
Upping you internet speed is only going to help if you have a lot of devices connected to your internet that are using bandwidth. So with a higher speed then more things can receive data at a normal rate and not get slowed down waiting.
The higher internet speed is not going to make up for the lack of memory or processor speed of an older computer.

Surprising (what you said about the old PC and speed). Game's flying on the "old" machine. Coincidence? Amazon Alexa and my computer(s) are all that's connected.

BTW...is there a way to insert photos like that to where they don't look so wonky? Thx.

The test you showed only is telling you the speed between your provider and your modem. Your computer can still only upload and download at the speed the card in it can work at. If it seems to be working faster then good.

Wouldn't a hardwired connection have a higher speed than a wireless?

My FarmTown is running incredibly slow/I can plant fields and only some of them appear.
I get messages at the bottom of the page tat begin with WARNING Ajax.


I have deleted history and emptied cache on my Chrome.
This has been an issue since the last update.

Hi Lindalshot,
First thing is to make sure your browser and computer operating system are updated. If you do have to do any updates then be sure to restart your computer after doing those.

Also this could be an internet connection problem. That does not mean your connection to your service provider. Your data has to travel from yoour computer through many internet links to get to the Farm Town servers and back to your computer. Any one of those links having problems can cause your data to not get through and cause a connection error. Unfortunately we have no way to check those links nor any way to control them. The only thing you can do is keep trying and hopefully the problem will be fixed by whoever owns the link causing your problem.

i ran the server test and the top server had a sad face, my game has been running slow when workig other farm, sending bonuses and ingerents also while working fac and fact. i have cleaned everything also reset my router help please. this has been since the new update

Hi twaters,
The sad face you are seeing is just that the symbol that was supposed to be there is not able to show on your computer. It does not mean there is a problem with the server. There are other things to check for slow operation in the following link to check:

This sounds like you may be having a slow internet connection to the Farm Town servers. This does not mean between you and your service provider.

Your data has to go through many internet links to get to and back from the Farm Town servers. Any one of those links having a high amount of traffic can cause slowdowns inmoving the data.Unfortunately we have no control or way to check those links as they are different for everyone.
